Bail ó Dhia oraibh!

Greetings and Blessings to everyone for this New Year ahead, and also for the 7th Memorial Concert for Jimmy.

Every year at this time I am touched by a number of emotions ranging from joy and pride to a tinge of sadness.

The joy and pride would be understood by anyone who had ever met or known Jimmy; a man of great dignity, imbued with a passion for life, his family, his culture and his music!

I have been blessed to have shared some wonderful moments with Jimmy and his family, and to have had the privilege of some many hours of music with him and his sons Brendan and Martin, and of course the musical family which surrounds them.

The sadness too will be felt by all those who still miss Jimmy’s passing.

May you all have a fantastic weekend for the Concert, my best and all love and peace,

Ath-bhliain faoi mhaise daoibh go léir....

Brian x

Lovely photographs again. Looks like you all had a great night.

I talked about Jimmy to loads of musicians at the Cygnet Folk Festival where I was playing, 11 hours ahead of your night. I do hope some of them visit this site.

They certainly know about Jimmy down under since I got here!

All love and peace, Brian x
